PURPOSE: An LNG(Liquefied Natural Gas) storage tank is provided to improve construction quality of an insulation board by preventing generation of a discontinuous surface in a secondary barrier. CONSTITUTION: An LNG storage tank(100) comprises a primary barrier(10), an upper insulation board(20), a lower insulation board(30), a secondary barrier(14), a coupling unit(40), and a fixing unit(50). The primary barrier airtightly seals a storage space forming in an inner hull(11). The upper insulation board is coupled to the primary barrier. The lower insulation board is fixed in the inner hull. A lower insulation member(33) of the lower insulation board is installed in the inner hull through a lower insulation member protecting plate(311). The secondary barrier is coupled between the upper insulation board and the lower insulation board. The coupling unit is inserted into the lower insulation member protecting plate. The fixing unit comprises a supporting portion and a rotating body. The supporting portion is projected from the top of the inner hull. The rotating body moves along the supporting portion and selectively inserts into an insertion groove of the coupling unit. |
