摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance versatility of an optical disk device including a function that performs a condition setting regarding a spherical aberration correction and a focus position such that amplitude of a tracking error (TE) signal becomes optimal.SOLUTION: In an optical device 1, a first adjustment variable is used for performing adjustment regarding the focus position and a second adjustment variable is used for adjusting a correction amount of spherical aberration. A control unit that the optical device 1 includes is configured to: derive an adjustment line expected to pass through a point where amplitude of a tracking error signal becomes maximal in an orthogonal coordinate system composed of an axis of the first adjustment variable and an axis of the second adjustment variabl; and search for values of the first adjustment variable and the second adjustment variable in accordance with the adjustment line.
