PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a highly active oxidation-reduction catalyst obtained by heat-treating a coordination polymer metal complex containing a metal-Nstructure subjected to high structural control and having a high specific surface area due to a porous property, and heat-treating the coordination polymer metal complex and then being carried by a conductive carrier, or heat-treating the coordination polymer metal complex after being carried by the conductive carrier; especially, a fuel cell catalyst exhibiting an excellent power generation property in a fuel cell or a polymer coating fuel cell catalyst obtained by coating the fuel cell catalyst with ion conductive polymer; a membrane-electrode assembly using the fuel cell catalysts; and a fuel cell.SOLUTION: There are provided: an oxidation-reduction catalyst obtained by heat-treating a coordination polymer metal complex containing a metal-Nstructure subjected to high structural control, the metal-Nstructure containing a ligand having 2 or more chemical structures selected from -NH, =NH and =N- in a molecule and having a plane structure, and metal, the coordination polymer metal complex having a high specific surface area due to a porous property, and heat-treating the coordination polymer metal complex and then being carried by a conductive carrier, or heat-treating the coordination polymer metal complex after being carried by the conductive carrier; especially, a fuel cell catalyst or a polymer coating fuel cell catalyst obtained by coating the fuel cell catalyst with ion conductive polymer; a membrane-electrode assembly using the fuel cell catalysts; and a fuel cell. |
