PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience in sharing a portable display device among plural users.SOLUTION: A display system includes a portable display device and an information apparatus for giving the display device display object information. The display device includes a memory for storing display object information given by the information apparatus, a password setting unit for setting a use restriction password that restricts the use of the display device to a specific user, a memory management unit for deleting the display object information stored by the memory, and a password cancellation unit for canceling the setting of the use restriction password when the memory management unit deletes all of the display object information in the memory.
