Disclosed are a fee deduction method and apparatus. The method comprises: a PPS system receiving a call from an IVR system attempting to access the PPS system; and at the end of a session of the call, the PPS system applying an online charging system for fee deduction according to a time length of the session. By means of the present invention, access calls and fee deduction operations are processed by the PPS system, the IVR system connects the call to the PPS system, and at the end of the session of the call, the PPS applies the online charging system for fee deduction according to the time length of the session, thereby solving a problem of complex fee deduction operations of the IVR system in the related art, further simplifying processing logic and a processing procedure, reducing the amount of code, and reducing the waste of development resources. |
