The line (10) has a thermal insulation unit (13) arranged between an inner metallic wall (11) and an outer metallic wall (12). The inner and outer metallic walls are formed by a single-piece casting component (14). Glass fiber continuous filaments (15) are provided in the thermal insulation unit and injected into a cavity that is formed between the inner metallic wall and the outer metallic wall of the casting component. A T-type contour is connected with a discharge line (16) and two supply lines (17, 18). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an exhaust line for a combustion engine.
