PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film suitable for a polarizing plate, a touch panel or the like, having excellent scratch resistance and having both of good image clarity and appropriate anti-glare property.SOLUTION: The optical film has the following hard coat layer formed on at least one surface of a transparent substrate film. The hard coat layer is formed of a coating composition containing an active energy ray-curable compound and organic fine particles having an average particle diameter of 1 to 5 μm, in which the organic fine particles have a content of 0.1 part by mass or more and 10 parts by mass or less with respect to 100 parts by mass of the solid content of the active energy ray-curable compound and the active energy ray-curable compound has a specific gravity greater by 0.15 or more than the specific gravity of the organic fine particles at 25°C. The hard coat layer is formed having a thickness larger than the average particle diameter of the organic fine particles. The hard coat layer shows a total haze value of 6 to 19%. The difference in the refractive index between the active energy ray-curable compound and the organic fine particles is 0.02 to 0.5. |
