PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem in conventional electric kettles that measuring a temperature of hot water is needed and mounting a control unit is also needed.SOLUTION: An electric kettle includes a body 2 that has a container 6 and a spout 14 and of which an upper part opens, and a cover body 9 for closing the upper opening of the body 2. In the body 2, a body steam passage 54 is formed around an opening position of the body 2. In the body steam passage 54, a steam inlet 56 is formed for communicating with a space in the container 6. In a liquid channel between the container 6 and the spout 14, a partition 50 is provided having a plurality of small holes 52. The body steam passage 54 connects to a space between the partition 50 and the spout 14. |
