The invention relates to a photovoltaic module (1) for converting incident electromagnetic radiation (I) into electrical energy, comprising: at least one sheet (2) that is transparent to the incident electromagnetic radiation (I); at least one photovoltaic cell (4) comprising an active face (4a) placed facing said transparent plate (2); a spectral conversion element comprising a luminescent material able to be excited by the incident electromagnetic radiation and formed by at least one first spectral conversion zone (8, 8a, 8b) placed facing a lateral face of the photovoltaic cell; at least one direct transmission zone (9) separating the transparent sheet (2) from the photovoltaic cell (4) and configured to directly transmit the incident electromagnetic radiation (I) from the transparent plate (2) at least as far as part of the active face (4a) of the photovoltaic cell (4), the spectral conversion element comprising a second spectral conversion zone extending the first spectral conversion zone, said second spectral conversion zone being positioned on the peripheral border of the active face of the photovoltaic cell, directly on said active face, so that the part of the active face (4a) of the photovoltaic cell (4) directly receiving the incident electromagnetic radiation (I) represents between 40% and 90% of the total area of the active face (4a) of the photovoltaic cell (4). |
