A system and method for preventing a mobile terminal from abnormal uploading of information. The system comprises: a real-time monitoring module, which is configured as: to monitor in real-time a standby state of the mobile terminal and a transmission power in the standby state, and to notify a comparison module of the standby state and the transmission power in the standby state; the comparison module, which is configures as: when the notification is received, to compare the transmission power of the mobile terminal in the standby state with a transmission power of the mobile terminal in a theoretical standby state, and to notify a software prompting module of the comparison result; the software prompting module, which is configured as: when the comparison result is such that the transmission power of the mobile terminal in the standby state is greater than the transmission power of the mobile terminal in the theoretical standby state, to prompt a user that a risk of malicious information leakage is present in the current state. Employment of the present method and system allows for great determination accuracy and solves abnormal leakage of user information, thus improving the security of the user information on the mobile terminal. |
