ANALYSIS SYSTEM, COMPUTER SYSTEM AND ANALYSIS METHOD

This analysis system analyzes actions of a DBMS in a computer system having computers which, when running a query, execute tasks in parallel and read out data from a database (DB). This analysis system acquires the number of selected rows corresponding to a key value of the index key used in a query; calculates a processing parallelism model predicted value in the query processing on the basis of the aforementioned number of selected rows, a maximum thread number, a first IO process number of DBMS interface processes that can be run in parallel, a second IO process number of processes that can be run in parallel between storage mediums in a storage device, and a third IO process number of processes of each storage medium that can be run in parallel; acquires, from the storage device, event information relating to IO events to or from a storage medium when actually processing the query; calculates, on the basis of the event information, a processing parallelism measured value of when processing of the query was actually performed; and displays information on the basis of the processing parallelism predicted value and the processing parallelism measured value.
