The present invention relates to a data transmission method using a random access scheme in a communication network, and in particular, to a method and apparatus for realizing random access in a communication network using the slot reservation scheme of a satellite network controlling the number of replicated data packets. In order to achieve the above described objective, the data transmission method using a random access scheme according to one embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: receiving a communication channel for one frame period and determining the slot occupation state; selecting one or more empty slots and replicating data packets to each of the empty slots in order to transmit the replicated data packets; discerning slots in which packets without conflicts with other data packets are received from among the replicated packets; and determining any one of the discerned slots as a reserved slot.
