A turbine blade (10) includes an airfoil (12) having opposite pressure and suction sidewalls (18,20) joined together at opposite leading and trailing edges (22,24) and extending longitudinally from root (26) to tip (28). A plurality of independent cooling circuits (34-38) are disposed inside the airfoil (12) correspondingly along the pressure and suction sidewalls (18,20) thereof. A first serpentine circuit (34) is disposed along the pressure sidewall (18). A second serpentine circuit (36) is disposed along the suction sidewall (20) in parallel with the first circuit (34). And a third impingement circuit (38) is disposed at the leading edge (22) forward of the first and second circuits (34,36). |
