A water recycling unit 100 for use with a water reservoir comprises a tank 111 with an inlet 112 and outlet 113 for connection to the reservoir. The inlet receives water from the reservoir and the outlet supplies water to the reservoir, wherein the water outlet is located at a top of the water tank and the water inlet is located below the water outlet. The water tank comprises a settling arrangement 111a, 111b and the unit comprises a coagulant delivery means 114 either at or before said inlet. In another aspect, a water refill unit comprises a water tank, a water inlet and water outlet. The water inlet receives water from a cleaning machine, wherein the unit is a stand-alone system adapted to recycle at least 50% of the water intake from the cleaning machine using at least one water filter. An adaptor (30, Fig. 4) is also claimed for location in a water reservoir, wherein the adaptor comprises a mass to facilitate sinking in a reservoir, a filter (31, Fig. 4) through which water intake is effected and a connector (32, Fig. 4) for attachment to a water conductor, such as a pipe (21, Fig. 5). |
