A method, device, computer program and information storage means for transmitting a source frame into a video display system comprising a plurality of projectors, which aims to minimize latency while keeping a correct synchronization between sub-frames of the source frame. The video display system 10 produces a projected image 106 from the source frame 100, each projector 102 - 105 being arranged to display a sub-frame 106A - 106D. The video display system further arranges a display delay, equal to a delay between reception of a source frame synchronization signal and a sub-frame display synchronization signal, dependent on the positions and the orientations of the video projectors, for example whether the projector is in landscape or portrait mode or whether it is positioned along the bottom border of an arrangement. The delay is calculated such that display of the projected image begins before at least one projector has received an associated complete sub-frame. In another embodiment the delay is calculated such that the display of the projected image is suspended until data associated with the sub-frames of the bottom border of the projected image are placed in a buffer. |
