<p>The apparatus 401 comprises a base having a front edge 402 and a rear edge 403, a vertical front plate 404, and a cowl 405 extending from the rear edge to an upper edge 406, which is preferably a circular arced cowl. The cowl and base define an enclosure in which a plurality of axial fans 407 is located. An upper lip of the front plate and the upper edge define an air outlet. The apparatus is arranged to attach to a wall mounted central heating radiator (302, figure 3) having a top defined by one or more panels and including an upper flat region and a lower ridged region. The base engages with the radiator top and the front plate contacts the upper flat region. The apparatus may include a retainer 409, such as a spring clip, located on the rear edge and front edge and configured to secure the axial fans in place. The apparatus redirects convection air from the radiator so that the air passes substantially horizontally into a room to be heated. A further apparatus having one or more magnets (703, figure 7) to secure the apparatus to a central heating radiator is also claimed.</p> |
