The present invention relates to a system for measuring the video quality of a smart TV. The system comprises: a receiving unit for receiving video data from the outside; a decoding unit for converting the video data received from the outside into video frame data; a quality analyzing unit for analyzing the quality of the video frame data converted by the decoding unit; and a noise generating unit for checking the operation of the quality analyzing unit by inserting noise into the image frame data before the quality analyzing unit receives the video frame data. Therefore, the system for video quality measurement can improve the reliability of the system by inspecting the system by itself using the noise generating unit included in the system measuring the quality of a video transmitted over a network.
