<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device for a hybrid vehicle capable of quickly converging the rotational speed of an engine to a target rotational speed during idling operation. <P>SOLUTION: The engine control device is provided for the hybrid vehicle in which the engine is shifted to an idle operation state under the predetermined condition and thereafter the idle stop in which the engine is temporarily stopped is carried out. The device includes a feedback controller for setting an F/B intake air correcting quantity QFB and an initial value correcting quantity setter for setting the initial value correcting quantity Qp for correcting an idle time initial value Qi of the above F/B intake air correcting quantity QFB used in the idling operation at the next time based on the engine rotational speed or the information relating to the same, and corrects the initial value Qi of the F/B intake air correcting value QFB using an idling time final value Qe of the F/B intake air correcting quantity QFB set at the previous time and the initial value correcting quantity Qp when the correcting quantity setting changing allowing condition is established and the engine is shifted to the idling state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
