摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device for a hybrid vehicle capable of quickly converging the rotational speed of an engine to a target rotational speed during idling operation. <P>SOLUTION: The engine control device is provided for the hybrid vehicle in which the engine is shifted to an idle operation state under the predetermined condition and thereafter the idle stop in which the engine is temporarily stopped is carried out.
