The present invention relates to polyester texturized yarn having electromagnetic wave-shielding functions and a preparation method thereof, wherein the polyester texturized yarn reduces residence time of polymers during melt-spinning by direct melt-spinning polyester filaments or making the filaments into resin, prevents rapid cooling after emission from a mold by maintaining temperatures at the inside of a pack and the lower part of a mold, maintains adequate physical properties by improving radiation, minimizes variation between properties, and can be applied to a variety of electronic products by improving radiation.
