<p>The present invention relates to a vehicle parking control system, which removes a temporary obstacle in order to search an area where parking is available, and a parking control method using the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is the vehicle parking control system comprising a camera, which obtains a parking area image based on the location of the vehicle of a user; a detection unit, which detects an object inside the parking area; and an electronic control unit, which determines the kind of the object by comparing a pre-set reference image pattern with an object image pattern among the images inside the parking area, which are obtained from the camera and searches an area where parking is available by removing the outline of the object, if the object is determined as a temporary obstacle, from the outlines of objects inside the parking area.
