<p>A saddle type vehicle includes a vehicle body frame (3), a seat, a seat connecting device, a seat lock device (14), and a lock release device (15). The seat lock device (14) includes a locking member (16) provided on one of the frame (3) and seat, and a locking mechanism (17) arranged to lock the locking member (16) and provided on the other of the frame (3) and seat. The seat lock device (14) includes a locking position adjusting mechanism (42) capable of adjusting the height of a locking position. The seat lock device (14) causes the locking mechanism (17) to lock the locking member (16) at the locking position in state in which a portion of the seat is connected to the frame (3) by the seat connecting device. The lock release device (15) releases a lock of the seat by the seat lock device (14).</p> |
