The optical film conveyance method comprises an intermittent conveyance process that intermittently conveys an optical film by means of an intermittent conveyance unit (3A) and a continuous conveyance process that continuously conveys the optical film, conveyed from the intermittent conveyance unit (3A), with multiple conveyance units. The method controls the conveyance so that: when transferring the optical film from the intermittent conveyance unit (3A) to the conveyance units, a first conveyance speed, which is the conveyance speed of the optical film conveyed by the intermittent conveyance unit (3A) toward the conveyance units, approaches a second conveyance speed, which is the conveyance speed at which the optical film is conveyed with the conveyance units; and when transferring the optical film from upstream conveyance units to the downstream conveyance unit among the multiple conveyance units, a third conveyance speed, which is the conveyance speed at which the optical film is conveyed from the upstream conveyance units toward the downstream conveyance unit, approaches a fourth conveyance speed, which is the conveyance speed at which the optical film is conveyed on the downstream conveyance unit. |
