PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disassembling/connecting tool of a top chain capable of disassembling and connecting the top chain in a stable state by one operator. SOLUTION: In this top chain 1, a plurality of top plates 2 having a first hinge 6 and a second hinge 7 projecting to the reverse surface side at one end side 3 and the other end side 3 of the plates 2 are constituted by inserting pins 8 into the aligned first hinge and second hinge by aligning the first hinge of one top plate and the second hinge of the separate top plate. The disassembling/connecting tool 10 of the top chain has a flat surface 12, first and second recessed parts 13 and 14 formed at the flat surface and having sizes and shapes capable of fitting a connecting part 5 for inserting the pins into the first and second hinges in a state of allowing a top plate to abut on the flat surface, a through-hole 19 or a groove 20 extending to both end sides of the pin coaxially with the pins of the connecting part fitted in the first recessed part, and a through-hole or a groove 18 extending only to one end side of the pin coaxially with the pin of the connecting part fitted in the second recessed part.
