A braze alloy composition is provided to seal a ceramic component part relative to a metal component part in an electrochemical cell. The braze alloy composition contains nickel, silicon, boron, and a reactive metal element. The braze alloy contains the nickel exceeding about 50 wt% and the reactive metal element which is less than 10 wt%. Provided is the electrochemical cell using the braze alloy to seal the ceramic component part relative to the metal component part. |
