<p>A stop for an axially displaceable male-female coupling, the stop may comprise a main section, an opening, and two legs extending from the main section on each side of the opening. The stop further comprises elastic means extending between and connecting the two legs. The elastic means is configured to move the stop back to an original position when the stop is displaced from its original position. A method for making a stop may comprise injection moulding the stop with two different materials in one step. An axially displaceable male-female coupling may comprise a male element, a female element, and the stop, wherein the stop is arranged in an original position around the male element for stopping the coupling from being released (uncoupled). A method for releasing an axially displaceable male-female coupling, comprising an axially displaceable male-female. The method comprising the following steps: releasing the coupling by removing the stop from its original position thereby extending the elastic means still held by the male element of the axially displaceable male-female coupling; and separating (uncoupling) the axially displaceable male-female coupling, whereby upon separation the elastic means pulls the stop back into the original position around the male element.</p> |
