The present invention relates to a turbo charger for a vehicle capable of preventing the control precision from being lowered by accumulation of foreign materials by producing a waste gate valve in the rotary type to naturally remove foreign materials when opening and closing a valve. The turbo charger for a vehicle comprises a turbine having an exhaust gas inlet and an exhaust gas outlet formed therein, a pan installed between the exhaust gas inlet and the exhaust gas outlet, and a bypass passage formed therein; a compressor having an external air inlet and a compressed air outlet formed therein, a pan installed between the external air inlet and the compressed air outlet, and a bypass passage formed therein; a shaft which connects the pan of the turbine to the pan of the compressor; an actuator which is connected to the bypass passage of the compressor; and a rotary valve which is installed in the bypass passage of the turbine and is operated by the actuator to open and close the bypass passage of the turbine. |
