<p>A solar cell includes a substrate; a back electrode layer, a light absorbing layer, and a transparent electrode layer sequentially formed on the substrate; and a barrier layer formed between the substrate and the back electrode layer and including a group II element. The barrier layer is formed on the substrate to prevent diffusion of a metal. Accordingly, the efficiency of the solar cell can be prevented from being deteriorated due to a metal component contained in the substrate.</p> |
