The present invention relates to an apparatus for advanced treatment capable of removing foreign materials included in wastewater using a plurality of reactors. The apparatus for advanced wastewater treatment comprises a plurality of volume varying parts (30) having a confining wall (19) constituting a border between a first anoxic tank (12) and an aerobic tank (13) placed in the apparatus for advanced treatment; a wastewater passing pat (40) for selectively passing wastewater in the first anoxic tank (12); and a flow control pat (50) for opening and closing the wastewater passing part (40). The efficiency of wastewater treatment is maximized by controlling residence time in the reactors in the process of varying the volumes of the reactors according to the operational conditions of the apparatus for advanced treatment and the generation characteristics of the wastewater.
