<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print controlling device capable of adjusting an image of an electronic document to an optimal size. <P>SOLUTION: The print controlling device is provided with a direct printing function for receiving the electronic document containing image data and printing the electronic document onto a printing region of a recording medium. The print controlling device has: a first acquisition unit, which acquires page size information indicating a page size of the received electronic document; a second acquisition unit, which acquires medium size information indicating a medium size of the recording medium; a comparison determining unit, which compares the acquired page size information and the medium size information with each other and determines whether the sizes match with each other or not; and a controlling unit, which generates, if they are determined to be a match, in-region print data corresponding to the print region from in-region image data corresponding to the print region of the recording medium of the received image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
