PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping structure capable of preventing the accumulated matter in the pipe thereof from spattering out of an outlet and a method for removing the accumulated matter in the piping structure. SOLUTION: This piping structure 2 includes a first pipe 20 having an inlet 22 into which a liquid W2 flows, a second pipe 30 which bends and extends relative to the first pipe 20 and has a first outlet 33 for discharging a liquid W3 on the downstream side end in the extending direction, an opening/closing valve 32 which is provided in the second pipe 30 and performs the opening and closing of the flow passage of the second pipe 30, and a second outlet 34 which is provided in the second pipe 30 between the opening/closing valve 32 and the first outlet 33 and which opens downward in the direction of the gravitational force.
