<p>A center pillar upper portion joining structure that may improve joining strength and rigidity between an upper portion of a center pillar and a roof side rail. A recess portion (38) that is indented to the vehicle inner side is formed in a roof side rail outer panel (36) at a joining portion with a center pillar (16). An upper portion extended portion (42) that closes off the recess portion is provided at an upper portion of t a center pillar reinforcement (32), and an upper end portion of the upper portion expended portion is joined to the roof side rail outer panel. In a vehicle rear elevation view, an upper face (38D) of the recess portion is provided upward in the vehicle elative to a centroid (64) of a cross section of the roof side rail (22).</p> |
