Mass cylinder-protective covering (8), which covers an outer periphery of a mass cylinder (4), in which a resin material serving as a material for a mold part is heated, melted, and injected from a resin feed opening, comprises a heat dissipation coating or -film that is applied on at least one part of an outer surface of the mass cylinder-protective covering. Independent claims are also included for: (1) resin injection protective covering for an injection molding machine, which prevent the resin spray, when the resin is processed in the cylinder, comprising a heat dissipation coating or -film that is applied on at least one part of an outer surface of the resin injection protective covering; and (2) injection molding machine comprising a mass cylinder protective covering, which is mounted to one side of a resin injection mechanism portion (5) of the injection molding machine and is moved with the resin injection mechanism portion and a mass cylinder covering, and a resin injection protective covering that is mounted on a mold-clamping mechanism portion of the injection molding machine and covers a surrounding area in the vicinity of a nozzle (3) for injecting the molten resin, where the mass cylinder-protective covering and the injection resin protective covering have portions which overlap with each other, and the resin injection mechanism portion moves with respect to the mold-clamping mechanism portion such that the mass cylinder and the nozzle are not exposed and the heat dissipation coating or -film are applied on at least one exposed area on the upper surface of the outer surface of the mass cylinder-protective covering, which is not covered by the resin injection protective covering, when the resin injection mechanism portion is in its furthest retracted position. |
