PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicating instrument capable of supplying stable electric power for a light source. SOLUTION: The indicating instrument comprising a display member 10 having a display unit 13a; a drive device 40 arranged on the back side of the display member 10; an indicating member 50 mounted to a rotating shaft 30 of the drive device 40 and having both of a base 51 arranged in such a way as to avoid the display member 10 and an indication unit 52 connected to the base 51 in such a way as to indicate the display unit 13a; and the light source 57 arranged in the indicating member 50 so as to make the indication unit 52 emit light has a first coil 23 provided for the side of the drive device 40; a second coil 91 provided for the side of the base 51 in such a way as to correspond to the first coil 23; and a flexible substrate 58 for electrically connecting the second coil 91 to the light source 57. Electric power is supplied for the light source 57 via the flexible substrate 58 by the action of electromagnetic induction between the first coil 23 and the second coil 91.
