The device has a display element (1) and a locking unit (3) which locks the display element in a position by a clamping unit (2) in the direction of another position. The former position displays a condition, and the latter position displays another condition. The device has a release unit (4) which is provided for releasing the lock between the locking unit and the display element. An independent claim is included for a pressure guiding system with an overpressure valve.
