The method involves entering natural fiber flocks and/or polyurethane-foam flocks and binders in an air flow against a gravitational force into a separating area and separating the flocks and binders at an air-permeable three-dimensional flock tool. A lower spatially and/or temporally variable air pressure is obtained behind the flock tool and before the flock tool, which is varied spatially and/or temporally. A thickness of a semi-finished product is adjusted within the range of 7 to 200 millimeters. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing molded parts.
