A liquid crystal display device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to mix light from LEDs efficiently, and to minimize the size of the LCD device. A liquid crystal panel comprises a first substrate(101a), a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer between the first and the second substrate. An LEDs installed in the liquid crystal panel supplies the light to the liquid crystal panel(103). A light guide plate(104) is prepared in the liquid crystal panel lower part, and guides the light emitted from the light emitting diode to the liquid crystal panel direction. A reflective sheet(105) is arranged through the light emitting diode top, and the side of the liquid crystal panel and rear side of the light guide plate, and guides the light emitted from the light emitting diode to the light guide plate. |
