A power supply apparatus and a power supply control method thereof are provided to offer power to a load stably by controlling power flow of primary and secondary batteries. A power supply apparatus(100) includes a primary power supply unit(10), a secondary battery unit(40), and a control unit(60). The primary power supply unit supplies a first power level of primary power to an electronic apparatus(200). The secondary battery unit supplies a second power level of secondary power to the electronic apparatus. The control unit controls the secondary battery unit so that a sum of the first and second power levels reaches a required power level of the electronic apparatus when the first power level is lower than the required power level of the electronic apparatus. |
