The invention discloses a method and system for Transparent Interconnection of Lots of Links (TRILL) network interconnection, comprising: a Border RBridge (BRB) of a first TRILL network receiving TRILL data frames transmitted by a second TRILL network, and forwarding the TRILL data frames; a RBridge (RB) of the first TRILL network receiving the TRILL data frames transmitted by the BRB, learning path to the second TRILL network through control information in a TLV format distributed by the BRB or by observing the TRILL data frames, and forwarding decapsulated original data frames to a device identified by the destination MAC address; and the RB encapsulating the TRILL data frames according to the learned path information, and transmitting the TRILL data frames to the second TRILL network through the BRB. The problem of interconnecting multiple TRILL networks across a traditional network and the problem of mass MAC address information when a large number of TRILL networks are interconnected are solved by the invention.
