The present invention relates to an energy saving type electric motor utilizing a rotating field which is lost from a coil exposed to outside of a stator and the electric motor is made of; a rotator in which a motor axis is integrally combined; the stator which is formed into a cylinder shape in which center is hollowed, and is installed on the outer radius of the rotator and generates the rotating field from the coil by being twined by the coil; an expanding fixed piece which is mounted between the rotator and the coil exposed to the upper and lower directions of the stator and plays a role as a magnetic path of the rotating field generated from the exposed coil. The number of the expanding fixed piece is matched with the number of pole of the electric motor and the each expanding fixed piece is arranged at regular intervals with the other expanding fixed piece. The expanding fixed piece plays a role as the magnetic path of the rotating field generated from the coil exposed to the upper and lower directions of the stator and the rotating field which is lost from the coil exposed to the outside of the stator is reduced and energy which is wasted from the electric motor is saved.
