The rotor (1) has a ring (3) radially, outwardly and cohesively attached around a shaft (2). The ring is arranged to attach multiple moving blades at the shaft in form-fit manner. The shaft and the ring are made of corrosion-wear-prone material and designed such that stresses in the shaft are homogeneous, where the stresses are transmitted from the ring to the shaft. The ring is firmly bonded to the shaft by welding. A buffer layer (4) is provided between the shaft and the ring. The shaft comprises a circumferential projection (5) at which the ring is firmly bonded. An independent claim is also included for a fluid-flow machine.
