A device for discharging shape steels and a method for discharging the same are disclosed. The device for discharging the shape steels according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a transfer unit for transferring shape steels cut in a predetermined length; a loading unit positioned at one side of the transfer unit and in which loading lines are included to load the shape steels; a pusher positioned at the other side of the transfer unit and in which the shape steels transferred by the transfer unit are discharged to the loading unit; one or more sensor units installed at the transfer unit and in which the kind of shape steels is sensed; and a control unit for comparing the length of the shape steel sensed by the sensor unit and the loading line and the pusher is controlled in order for the shape steels to be maximally loaded on the loading line.
