PURPOSE: A main shaft assembly for machine tools is provided to have no need to additionally perform a separate adjustment work for a connection bar during or after assembling the mains shaft assembly and to reduce time and workforce which are needed for a connection process. CONSTITUTION: A main shaft assembly for machine tools comprises a main shaft (700), a draw bar (300), a connection bar (200), a retainer (800), and a rotary joint. The draw bar is mounted inside the main shaft. The connection bar is connected to the draw bar, and has both dead-ends which are opened. The retainer supports the connection bar before being rotated, and is fixed on the draw bar. The rotary joint is connected to a hydraulic cylinder which is combined with a housing positioned on the outside of the main shaft, and accommodates the connection bar inside. |
