The vehicle (1) has controllers (11) formed to transmit warning signals, which correspond to warning conditions determined during self-diagnosis through a vehicle data bus (10). An indicating device (3) is formed to evaluate warning signals and to optically and/or acoustically indicate corresponding warning notices. The indicating device is formed such that explanation information is accessed and/or retrieved from a memory (18) to the warning notices simultaneously or by manual requirement with an optical output of the warning notices and are displayed and released by the indicating device.
