Disclosed is a surface treating agent for aluminum and an aluminum alloy, which is welded with fluorinated flux including 0.1-80 weight% of at least one metal compound forming a compound with metal fluoride and fluorine ion, 5-95 weight% of a hydrophilic polymer resin compound, and residual water. An excellent corrosion-resistant film is obtained when removing water-soluble components by washing the aluminum and an aluminum alloy welded with fluorinated flux, and then treating with a composition including the surface treating agent. The method can shorten the process and improve productivity.
