The purpose of the present invention provides a gauge checking system of a power generation plant capable of performing a reliable inspection and enabling a user to use previous data. A gauge checking system of a power generation plant according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a radio frequency identification (RFID) module for recognizing a gauge of a power generation plant; a camera module for photographing an image of the state of the gauge; a database for storing gauge data; and a main module for checking RFID data identified by the RFID module and the gauge data stored in the database, extracting an outline image from the photographed image of the camera module in case the RFID data and the stored gauge data are agreed, extracting image data using a support vector machine (SVM) from the outline image, matching the RFID data with the extracted image data, and storing the RFID data and the extracted image data in the database.
