TOUCH PANEL AND DISPLAY DEVICE COMPRISING THE SAME

A touch panel comprises: a transparent substrate including an active area (A) and an inactive area (I) positioned around the active area (A); an electrode sensor including X-axis electrode sensors extended in a transverse direction and covering the active area (A) and Y-axis electrode sensors extended in a longitudinal direction by crossing the X-axis electrode sensors and covering the active area (A); a first controller positioned at the inactive area (I) of the transparent substrate and having a driving IC for controlling the electrode sensor; a second controller positioned at the inactive area (I) by being separated from the first controller; a lead line for connecting the end of each electrode sensor and the first controller or the second controller and positioned at the inactive area; and a signal channel connecting the second controller and the driving IC and positioned at the flat surface different from the electrode sensor and the lead line. The present invention provides the touch panel capable of reducing the width of the inactive area and a display device including the same.
