The present invention relates to an umbrella consisting of an umbrella handle; a supporting holder installed on the top of the umbrella handle; a plurality of umbrella ribs installed in a shape radiating from the supporting holder; an umbrella cloth installed on the top of the umbrella ribs; a rising and falling slider installed on the umbrella handle to slide up and down; and supporting ribs installed in a shape radiating from the rising and falling slider to support the umbrella ribs. The present invention comprises a first pipe having facing long holes of specific length punched on both sides thereof in a lengthwise direction; a second pipe inserted from the lower exterior of the first pipe to move up and down; a cap support having the end of the bottom thereof fixed to the lower region of the first pipe, having the upper surface with a screw combined with a cap to be placed inside the first pipe, and having the bottom of the cap separated from the upper end part of the first pipe to form a gap; a cover fixing member having a penetrating hole formed in the middle and having facing protrusions of specific length on both sides fixed to the inner upper end of the second pipe through the long holes to rise and fall with the second pipe; and a cover having an opening at the upper side thereof exposed partially through the gap and having the lower end part thereof fixed to the surface of the cover fixing member. Accordingly carrying and keeping an umbrella is facilitated by covering the umbrella with part of a cover withdrawn from an umbrella handle when the umbrella is not being used. And using, carrying and keeping an umbrella is facilitated and the loss of a cover is prevented by automatically keeping a cover in an umbrella when the umbrella is being used. |
