The present invention relates to geranium nepalense extract suppressing the major causative organism of acne development and a method of producing the same. The geranium nepalense extract of the present invention has antimicrobial effect about major causative organisms like Staphylococcus.epidermidis and Propionibacterium.acnes and has no toxic to skin cells. By using the technique of the present invention, major causative organisms are effectively suppressed with the use of geranium nepalense extract, natural substances of plant origin.
