A system for assisting the landing of helicopters and a method for assisting the landing of the helicopters are disclosed. According to the present invention, the system for assisting the landing of the helicopters installed at a helideck of non-fixed structure comprises: sound receivers installed with a clearance; a control unit for calculating the position of helicopters based on the sound measured in the sound receiver; and a display unit for displaying position information of the helicopters and installed at the helideck.
