The present invention relates to an outer race device for a ball type constant velocity joint capable of: performing a smooth slide by generating the slide from the outside of an outer race not inside; increasing the quantity of notching by reducing the length of the outer race; and reducing an axial force by enabling a slide of reducing the axial force by a cloud action. The present invention includes: an outer race housing in which a ball, an inner race, and a cage are installed and a stamp part is formed to be extended outside; a drive shaft in which an adapter which is combined with the stamp part of the outer race housing is formed to be able to slide; a boot which seals by being installed between the adapter of the drive shaft and the outer race housing; and a band which fixates both ends of the boot respectively to the adapter of the drive shaft and the outer race housing. |
